Meet Julie
Julie Rimes is an educational consultant with broad experience in school leadership and the effective management of change. As an accredited chair and leader of team evaluation for international schools, a lead evaluator of teacher excellence programs, and school leadership roles Julie has worked across all sectors and all levels of education, from primary level through to the tertiary sector. In recognition of her work in education she was elected to the Tasmanian Women’s Roll of Honour in 2015.
She is a member of a number of state and national boards and committees in the education and disability spheres, having served as a member of the Possability Board and the Oak Tasmania Board for almost 20 years, including roles as Chair of both organisations. As a Fellow and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow and Life Member of the Australian College of Educators, and a Fellow of the Australian Council for Educational Leadership, Associate Professor Rimes brings extensive experience in working in senior roles in educational leadership, management and policy.
