Associate Professor, Architecture & Design
Meet Ceridwen
Ceridwen’s research centres on design for sustainability, health and social inclusion, with a focus on cognitive and sensory diversity in the design of the built environment. She is particularly interested in the use of creative and visual-based methods to gain in-depth insights into experiences of place and to extend opportunities for inclusion, collaboration and engagement in research and design projects.
She has led and participated in a number of multi-disciplinary funded research projects that target improvements in support for people living with a disability and their families across housing, higher education settings, schools and childcare centres. As well as traditional academic publications, she has also produced a number of creative works, including design guidelines and built structures. She is also a registered architect in Tasmania and a founding Director of Core Collective Architects.
