Meet Kate

Kate is a highly experienced clinician, advisor, academic and senior executive leader across Health and Human Services both nationally and internationally. With over 40 years of experience Kate is now the Course Coordinator for the Master of Leadership (Health and Human Services) at the University of Tasmania.

Kate’s research interests are in the area of leadership development and education specifically for the health and human service sector. A common limitation of leadership in the sector is the insufficient development and education of leaders to meet the needs of the fast-paced challenges and demands they face.  Kate is a current PhD Candidate at UTAS with her research titled - Leadership development: Understanding the missing link in Health and Human Services workforce capacity.
